Manticore Netlabel
A friend of mine and I are running something called Manticore Netlabel now.
If you’re unfamiliar with what a netlabel is, it’s basically an online only way for people to release their music under one promotional organization.
Basically, people make music, we help them get it out to the public easier.
The label is going to consist of heavy and/or abstract forms of electronic music. It will mainly be breakcore, jcore, lolicore, idm, and glitch.
Our main goal is to help artists find a collective group to call home for their projects and to help promote the music they make.
There will be split releases where a bunch of artists make a few songs on one release. There will be remix albums and all kinds of fun stuff.
If you like really fast, weird, abstract, crazy, interesting music, then follow us and check out some of the releases when they’re out. The plan is to release mainly free albums, so you’re really not losing anything except a couple MB on your hard drive.
My new EP, Aeon is coming out on Wednesday. It’d mean a lot to me if you all downloaded it.
I’ll be posting the link to it on bandcamp, and it will be a “pay what you want” release.
Payment would be awesome because I’m broke as hell, but it’s not necessary.
